In loving memory of DeWayne Allen Moore, a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and dedicated rancher from Evanston, who passed away on Saturday, Aug. 31, at the age of 78.

Born Aug. 18, 1946, he married D’Andrea L. Moore on May 17, 1967, and remained a loving husband to the end. DeWayne cultivated a life filled with hard work, dedication, and a deep-rooted love for his family.

Throughout his life, DeWayne proudly served his country, retiring from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service. During his service, he served in the Vietnam War, worked as a mechanic on airplanes and served time as a recruiter.

DeWayne took great pride in his ranching endeavors, tirelessly breeding cattle and goats. His love for airplanes was a passion that never wavered, a connection to his time in the Air Force that always held a special place in his heart.

DeWayne will be forever remembered by his beloved daughters, Tammy Fields and Denise Colvin; and his cherished grandchildren, Alexander, Cassandra, Richard, Janet and D’Anna; along with his brothers, Brent Moore and Jim Wall. His legacy will continue through his six adored great-grandchildren, who will always carry a piece of his spirit with them.

He is now reunited in eternal peace with his parents and his sisters, Norma Joan Wall and JoAnne Roper, who have gone before him.

Funeral services honoring DeWayne Allen Moore will take place at Crandall Funeral Home in Evanston at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12. Visitations will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 9:30-10:45 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service. Burial will be in Coalville City Cemetery.

The mark DeWayne left on the world will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly and the memories he shared with all who knew him. Rest in peace, DeWayne Allen Moore, as your spirit soars high, like the planes you loved, into the eternal skies above.
