It is with heavy hearts that we announce the forthcoming funeral services for Alicia Marie Gebhart, a loving daughter and friend, who departed from this world on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at the age of 46.
Born on May 25, 1978, in Salt Lake City, Alicia was a beacon of perseverance and strength throughout her life.
Despite facing early challenges predicted by doctors, Alicia defied all odds and displayed remarkable resilience. Her career as a switchboard operator at the Wyoming State Hospital spanned over 21 years, where she touched the lives of many through her dedication and kindness.
Her love for cooking and nurturing nature extended beyond the workplace, as she was cherished by numerous families for her role as a caregiver to their children.
Alicia’s unwavering spirit brought light and warmth to all those around her. She found solace in spending time with her loved ones, cherishing the moments shared with her family and friends. Her passing has left a void that can never be filled, but her memory will forever be treasured by those she leaves behind.
Alicia will be dearly missed by her father, Bill Gebhart; her mother, Alice Gebhart; and all who knew her.
Funeral services to honor and celebrate Alicia’s life will be held on Thursday, Nov. 21. A public viewing will take place at 10 a.m. at the Evanston Stake Center, followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m.
As we gather to mourn the loss of Alicia, let us remember her as the remarkable individual she was — a fighter to the end, a friend to many and a beacon of strength to all whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.
