Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Sept. 24-30, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 113 incidents between the dates of Monday, Sept. 24, and Sunday, Sept. 30. Incidents included two alarms, five ambulance or medical assists, seven animal problems, an alcohol offense, simple assault, 12 agency assists, residential burglary (Mountain View), a citizen dispute, a citizen assist, controlled substance possession, DWUS, a family fight, three fires, two juvenile problems, two keeping the peace incidents, lost or found property, three livestock problems, a nonsufficient funds check, non-vandalism property damage, two prowlers (Lyman), three public service programs, two rancher contacts, a suspicious incident, two traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, a telephone incident, a traffic hazard, threatening, trespassing, unsecure premises, four wanted persons and five welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested four persons between the dates of Sept. 24 and Sept. 30.
Ali Al-Mohanawy, of Kent, Washington, was arrested as a fugitive from justice.
Skylar T. McClure, of Casper, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Vickie R. Pitner, of Evanston, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and felony probation violation.
Juel L. Powell, of Evanston, was arrested for failure to pay.
