Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Sept. 23-Oct. 6, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 234 incidents between the dates of Monday, Sept. 23, and Sunday, Oct. 6. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, five alarms, three ambulance or medical assists, eight animal problems, 21 agency assists, breaking and entering, residential burglary (Simpson Ave.), two citizen complaints, five citizen disputes, five citizen assists, two civil problems, controlled substance possession, marijuana possession, a dead body, five domestic violence incidents, two DUIs, two DWUS incidents, two fires, fraud, harassment, three juvenile problems and keeping the peace.
Other incidents included lost or found property, six livestock problems, two missing persons, a probation/parole violation, four public service programs, six rancher contacts, seven suspicious incidents, a sex offender registration, suspicion, four traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, identity theft, a traffic offense, a traffic complaint, three property thefts, traffic control, trespassing, vandalism, 14 wanted persons and nine welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18 persons between the dates of Sept. 23 and Oct. 6.
John J. Boutin, of Green River, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance.
Courtney M. Canham, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under suspension.
Cory P. Case, of Evanston, was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance.
Justin E. Cook, of Randolph, Utah, was arrested for misdemeanor probation revocation, failing to pay and theft.
Clay A. Cudney, of Green River, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.
Peter E. Ferraris, of Wiggins, Colorado, was arrested for failing to appear.
Nicki N. Green, of Mountain View, was arrested for strangulation of a household member.
Constance T. Hebah, of Fort Washakie, was arrested for failing to appear.
Austin K. Jarrell, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence and misdemeanor probation violation.
Meranda E. Lovato, of Evanston was arrested for elder abuse and domestic battery.
Kenneth D. Madsen, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Darren R. Magalogo, of Mountain View was arrested for bond revocation.
Sage J. Mason, of Evanston, was arrested for felony probation revocation.
Clarence E. Mercer, of Fernadine Beach, Florida, was arrested for second or third-offense driving while under the influence and possessing a controlled substance.
Jordan J. Miller, of Evanston, was arrested for failing to appear.
Jeff L. Noorda, of West Jordan, Utah, was arrested for felony probation revocation.
Jonni L. Passey, of El Mirage, Arizona, was arrested for failing to appear.
Matthew C. Rex, of Evanston, was arrested for forgery/counterfeiting.
