Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 88 incidents between the dates of Monday, Oct. 4, and Sunday, Oct. 10. Incidents included an alarm, eight agency assists, four citizen assists, a civil problem,  controlled substance possession, domestic violence, two DUIs, fraud, 14 information reports, a background investigation, three jail offenses, a juvenile problem, two keeping the peace incidents, four livestock problems, six prisoner transports, three suspicious incidents, a sex offender registration, two traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic complaint, a traffic hazard, property theft, a warrant arrest and three welfare checks.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested five persons between Oct. 4 and Oct. 11.

Victor M. Garcia Gonzalez, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Nadine T. Hixson, of Billings, Montana, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant and for possessing a controlled substance.

Kwaylon L. Robbins, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, was arrested for driving while under the influence.

Kevin Tiffany, of Monroe, Utah, was arrested for theft and possessing stimulants/methamphetamine.

Ricky Walker, of Fort Bridger, was arrested for driving while under the influence.
