Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 109 incidents between the dates of Monday, May 13, and Sunday, May 20. Incidents included three alarms, three ambulance or medical assists, six animal problems, eight agency assists, three citizen assists, a civil problem, two controlled substance possessions, two domestic violence incidents, a DUI, four DWUS incidents, two family fights, keeping the peace, lost or found property, four livestock problems, littering, three missing persons, a public service program, speeding, a traffic accident with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, a traffic offense, property theft, trespassing, six wanted persons and a welfare check.

The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested eight persons between the dates of May 13 and May 20. 

Gabriel R. Alejos, of Long Beach, California, was arrested for felony probation revocation. 

Peter M. Collins, of Lyman, was arrested for driving while under the influence. 

Terrance J. Cottle, of Goodman, Texas, was arrested for driving while under suspension. 

Melanie L. Davidson-Suarez, of Las Vegas, was arrested for attempt/conspiracy. 

Rodney D. Owens, of Green River, was arrested for conspiracy to deliver heroin. 

Jason T. Stroh, of Lyman, was arrested for a child support issue and failure to appear. 

Saige R. Synan, of Evanston, was arrested for battery. 

William L. Thornock, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery.
