Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
June 24-30, 2019
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 120 incidents between the dates of Monday, June 24, and Sunday, June 30. Incidents included an alarm, eight ambulance or medical assists, nine animal problems, a simple assault, 11 agency assists, a citizen dispute, a citizen assist, two civil problems, counterfeit funds, a drug test, a DUI, a fire, fraud, harassment, two intoxicated persons, two juvenile problems, two keeping the peace incidents, two livestock problems, three suspicious incidents, a traffic accident with property damage, three traffic accidents with personal injury, a tobacco problem, four property thefts, vandalism, four wanted persons and four welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested five persons between the dates of June 24 and June 30.
Justin T. Barnes, of Evanston, was arrested for property destruction and second or third-offense driving while under the influence.
Daniel R. Blanchard, of West Jordan, Utah, was arrested on a warrant.
Leonard F. Grim III, of Canyon Country, California, was arrested on an out-of-county warrant.
Marci Johnson, of Salem, Utah, was arrested for identity theft.
Amy L. Mickelsen, of Taylorsville, Utah, was arrested on a courtesy hold for an outside agency.
