Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Dec. 20-26, 2021
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 85 incidents between the dates of Monday, Dec. 20, and Sunday, Dec. 26. Incidents included an abandoned vehicle, an alarm, an ambulance or medical assist, three animal problems, 10 agency assists, two citizen complaints, three citizen disputes, three citizen assists, controlled substance possession, a drug test, two DUIs, a family fight, a fire, five family problems, harassment, 14 information reports, two background investigations, five livestock problems, interfering with police, a prisoner transport, a sex offense, a traffic accident with property damage, a traffic hazard, two wanted persons and four welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested three persons between the dates of Dec. 20 and Dec. 26.
Felipe J. Ceballos-Garcia, of Denver, was arrested on a warrant for failing to pay.
Ryan M. Newell, of Huntington, California, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and driving while under the influence.
Jason H. Pitman, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence and interfering with a peace officer.
