Uinta County Sheriff’s Office incidents
Aug. 6-12, 2018
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office responded to 115 incidents between the dates of Monday, Aug. 6, and Sunday, Aug. 12. Incidents included three ambulance or medical assists, eight animal problems, seven agency assists, breaking and entering, a citizen dispute, two civil problems, two domestic violence incidents, DUI, a family fight, two fires, fraud, two jail offenses, a juvenile problem, keeping the peace, eight livestock problems, a motorcycle/recreational vehicle problem, six suspicious incidents, a hit and run, four traffic accidents with property damage, two property thefts, unsecure premises, seven wanted persons and two welfare checks.
The Uinta County Sheriff’s Office arrested six persons between the dates of Aug. 6 and Aug. 12.
Jonathan P. Alisna, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence and failing to stop his vehicle after an accident causing damage to an unattended vehicle.
Shayla L. Crompton, of Evanston, was arrested for battery.
Justin K. Dunford, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for theft, conspiracy to commit theft, forgery and interfering with a police officer.
Shawna D. Martin, of Evanston, was arrested for theft.
Jordan J. Miller, of Lyman, was arrested for contempt of court.
Kristopher J. Thomson, of Clear Lake, California, was arrested for failing to appear.
