After winning the Class 2A state championship last week, the Mountain View High School football team had nine players selected to the All-State team.
Jason Stoddard, Colby Rees, Briggin Bluemel, Kimball Madsen, Braeden Walk, Hunter Gross, Jonathan Anderson, Harlan Benedict and Braxton Hysell were all named to the All-State team. All nine players were also named to the Class 2A West All-Conference team.
Stoddard was named Class 2A’s defensive player of the year, while Rees was named lineman of the year. Mountain View’s Brent walk was also named coach of the year. They were received the same honors for Class 2A West All-Conference.
Lyman sophomore BeauDee Bluemel was also selected to the All-State team.
BeauDee Bluemel, Dryden Menck, Cayden Giles and Ben Neider represented the Eagles on the All-Conference team.
