The Uinta County Mosquito Control Program will apply its second phase of adult mosquito control beginning on Monday, July 17, in the Bridger Valley area and on Wednesday, July 19, in Evanston.
It will take place in the late afternoon when wind is low and temperatures are cool. Dates may change according to weather and plane availability. The spray will be Permanone 31-66 at a concentration of 1/3 ounce to the acre.
The mosquito control team has announced that, due to budget restraints, mosquito control is limited this year and they cannot afford to use all possible resources to kill mosquitoes.
