Lauren Willey Pitt, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 20, in Grand Junction, Colorado. She married Scott Reed Pitt on March 2, 1979. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on Feb. 21, 1981. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings in the wards and stakes where they happened to live.

She loved her faith, family, and enjoyed the outdoors, her many fur babies, camping, fishing, pheasant hunting, riding motorcycles and skiing.

She is survived by her husband, Scott Reed Pitt; her two children, Lindsey (Eric) Coombs, Scott Ryan (Darci) Pitt; her three grandchildren, Effie Coombs, Scott Ryder Pitt and Amelia Mae Pitt; her parents, Paul and Catherine Willey; her three brothers, Marty (Julie) Willey, Chad (Sonia) Willey and Bryan (Shelli) Willey; and her one sister, Megan (Finley) Horrocks.
