Koskell “Gus” Saxton, age 40, passed
away on Jan. 30, 2019, in Evanston, Wyoming.
She was born on Dec. 24, 1978, in Evanston
to Ken Dee and Colleen Marie (Cook)
Bruce.
She graduated from Evanston High School.
On March 13, 1999, she married Clinton
Robert Saxton in Evanston.
Gus loved traveling, going to the beach,
camping, gardening, crafts, home decorating,
shopping, collecting snowmen and shoes,
reading, watching movies and going to Bear
Lake with her daughters or spending any time
with family. She was a preschool teacher at
L.U.C.D.A in Evanston and passionately
loved her students.
She is survived by her husband of 20
years, Clint, and two daughters Kelly and
KateLynn, all of Evanston; her parents Ken and Colleen Bruce of Evanston, and brothers
Buckley (Kristal) Bruce of Pinedale, and Cody (Chelsey) Bruce of Randolph, Utah; sisters
Audra (Bruce) Rhodes of Heber City, Utah, Becky (Birney) Davis of Evanston, and Dee Ann
(Bruce) Young of Williston, N.D.. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Selena Cook, and
paternal grandparents, Wright (Lenore) Bruce.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Evanston L.D.S. Elm Street Church.
Viewing will be at the Crandall Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at
the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Evanston City Cemetery.
