Evanston police incidents
May 14-17, 2020
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 88 incidents between the dates of Thursday, May 14, and Sunday, May 17. Incidents included an assault with a knife, two alarms, two ambulance or medical assists, 17 animal problems, three agency assists, three citizen disputes, two citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, criminal entry, controlled substance possession, two domestic violence incidents, a DUI, DWUS, an escort, hazardous material, three information reports, two intoxicated persons, a juvenile problem, lost or found property, a noise problem, two parking problems, six suspicious incidents, a hit and run, two traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic hazard, two property thefts, four trespassing incidents and seven welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested six persons between the dates of May 14 and May 17.
Jordan V. Fox, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal entry and property destruction.
Chase T. Goodspeed, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal trespassing.
Joseph D. Littell, of Evanston, was arrested for failing a duty to render aid.
Travis R. Meier, of Evanston, was arrested for second or third-offense driving while under the influence, misdemeanor probation violation and interference with a peace officer.
Juan F. Recendez, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication.
Adren R. Warner, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal entry and possessing a controlled substance.
