Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.

The Evanston Police Department responded to 165 incidents between the dates of Monday, July 5, and Sunday, July 11. Incidents included five assaults, an alarm, four ambulance or medical assists, 22 animal problems, breaking and entering, five citizen complaints, four citizen disputes, three citizen assists, two citizen investigative contacts, four civil problems, criminal entry, controlled substance possession, disorderly conduct, a fire, credit card fraud, two fireworks incidents, harassment, indecent exposure, five information reports, an intoxicated person, eight juvenile problems, keeping the peace, lost or found property, a missing person, three noise problems, three parking problems, property destruction, a probation/parole violation, three suspicious incidents, two hit-and-run traffic accidents, eight traffic accidents with property damage, a traffic accident with personal injury, threatening, two property thefts, six trespassing incidents, unsecure premises, a wanted person and 10 welfare checks.

The Evanston Police Department arrested six persons between the dates of July 5 and July 11.

Joshua J. Berrett, of Evanston, was arrested for criminal entry and public intoxication.

Jesse R. Bowie, of Evanston, was arrested for credit card fraud and theft.

Steven A. Candelario, of Evanston, was arrested for domestic battery, aggravated assault and battery, being a minor in possession of alcohol, being a minor in possession of tobacco and a misdemeanor probation violation.

Shawn P. Coburn, of Evanston, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear.

Christopher M. Hernandez, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation.

Cory M. Webb, of Evanston, was arrested for theft.
