Evanston police incidents
Feb. 1-7, 2021
Editor’s note: Information contained in this report is compiled from a daily activity log and an arrest record maintained by the Evanston Police Department. VIN inspections are not included. Those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law; charges listed may not reflect final disposition of cases.
The Evanston Police Department responded to 139 incidents between the dates of Monday, Feb. 1, and Sunday, Feb. 7. Incidents included two abandoned vehicles, three alarms, eight ambulance or medical assists, nine animal problems, eight simple assaults, four citizen assists, a citizen investigative contact, a civil problem, a DUI, DWUS, two family fights, a fire, three harassments, five information reports, three juvenile problems, keeping the peace, three parking problems, non-vandalism property damage, a protection order violation, a parole/probation violation, a school problem, nine suspicious incidents, a hit and run, four traffic accidents with property damage, two traffic complaints, threatening, a traffic offense, shoplifting, five trespassing incidents, vagrancy and 13 welfare checks.
The Evanston Police Department arrested four persons between the dates of Feb. 1 and Feb. 7.
Alicia N. Biorn, of Evanston, was arrested for misdemeanor probation violation.
Ty C. Calladitto, of Evanston, was arrested for driving while under the influence with a BAC of .08% or greater.
Tara L. Schweiger, of St. Paul, Minnesota, was arrested for trespassing.
Kanyon D. Watson, of Evanston, was arrested for public intoxication and the purchase and/or possession of alcohol by or for someone under the age of 21.
