Crystal Lee Moesser Thompson Williams, born Nov. 24, 1982, passed away on July 4, peacefully at her home in Evanston. Crystal was loved by all who knew her.  

She attended Taylorsville High School in Salt Lake City, moved to Wyoming her junior year and graduated from Evanston High School. She attended college classes and obtained her CNA license. She received her master’s degree in business. She worked for the sheriff’s office for 12 years. She was an entrepreneur and had several small businesses.

Crystal was a very active member of Soroptimist International of Evanston for several years and held several positions.

Crystal was very active in her community and held positions on the Red Carpet Committee, and she also received the Evanston Citizen of the Year award.

Crystal leaves behind her husband, Steve Williams; parents, Joseph “Pete” and Sherrie Moesser; brother, Travis (Misty) Moesser; niece and nephews, Jack, Charlie and Sophie Moesser; grandmother, Norma Hanson; many aunts, uncles and cousins; mother- and father-in-law, Sharon and Burley Williams; brother-in-law, Shane; and many, many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11, at the Evanston Machine Shop.  Visitation will be on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Crandall Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Evanston City Cemetery.
