Alma Jean (Jeannie) Gardner passed away on Monday, Aug. 29, at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Jeannie was born April 28, 1949, to William and Josephine Megeath. She graduated from Evanston High School and lived in Evanston all her life.
She married Dale Gardner Aug. 10, 1983, in Las Vegas. They were married 39 years.
Jeannie had one son, William M. Gardner (Will), who passed away in 2015.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Will; brother, Rusty Megeath; brothers-in-law, Jim McJunckin and Max Gardner and sister-in-law, Teri Jayne Wenzler.
She is survived by her husband, Dale; son, Jared (Taisha); grandchildren, Sage, Aidan, Abram, Paxton, Mack and Tazzi; brother, Paul Megeath; sister, Peggy McJunckin; sisters-in-law, Mary Megeath and Peggy Gardner; brother-in-law, Kevin (Pat) Gardner; many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time, and burial will be at the Fort Bridger Cemetery.
