INVITATION TO BID

Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the City of Evanston-Safe Routes to Evanston Aspen Elementary School will be received by the City of Evanston, Wyoming at the office of the City Clerk until   2:00 p.m. local time May 30, 2019 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The Project consists of the following work: The construction of approximately 35,000 square feet of new concrete sidewalk including ADA ramps along South Ridge Road, Broken Circle Drive, Walker Road and Washa1o, kie Drive including all appurtenances associated with the construction of the new sidewalk. All work will be within the city limits of Evanston, Wyoming.

Each BIDDER will be required to submit, with his proposal, a certified check, or Bid Bond made payable without condition to the City of Evanston in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the BIDDER’s maximum Bid Price as guarantee that such BIDDER will enter into a contract within fifteen (15) days after the date of the OWNER’s Notice of Award.

The City of Evanston, Wyoming is soliciting STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS from professional engineers (Consultants) interested in providing design-bid-build (DBB) services for a PL-566 watershed project through the NRCS.  From the NRCS website, nrcs.usda.gov, the PL-566 program is described as follows: PL-566 works through local government sponsors and helps participants solve natural resource and related economic problems on a watershed basis.  Projects can include flood prevention and damage reduction, development of rural water supply sources, erosion and sediment control, fish and wildlife habitat enhancement, wetland creation and restoration, and increased recreational opportunities.

SEALED BIDS for construction of asphalt pavement improvements will be received by the City of Evanston at 1200 Main Street, until 2:00 pm. June 7, 2019 at which time any and all bids received will be opened and read aloud. The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for completion of the project.

MATERIALS INCLUDE: Approximately, 5433 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement (HMAP), tack coat, 44 water valve grade rings, and 52 sewer manhole grade rings.

WORK DESCRIPTION: Street cleaning, weed removal, and surface preparation, traffic control, asphalt milling, placement and compaction of plant mix asphalt, adjustment of sewer manhole covers and water valve boxes.

Certified resident suppliers shall submit a list of supplies and materials, specific to the project, which qualify to receive preference along with company contact names and phone numbers. The OWNER reserves the right to reject all bids, if the Governing Body determines that it is in the best interest of the City to do so, and reserves the right to waive any formalities as provided by law.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO DESTROY SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS

The Special Education Services Department of Uinta County School District Number One will begin destroying special education records of students who have not received any special education services from the district in the last five years. Destruction will begin on June 11, 2019.           

All special education records of students who graduated from the district, reached the age of 21, moved from the district, dropped out of district schools, or gained inactive special education status five or more years before June 11, 2019 will be shredded beginning June 11, 2019.

Any parent/guardian or student who has reached the age of majority and is otherwise competent may request a copy of the records in writing prior to June 10, 2019.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Uinta County Commissioners are requesting bids for the Uinta County Dust Suppression Project.  The successful contractor will be required to furnish all supervision, technical, personnel, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services, including utility and transportation services to perform and complete all services and materials as defined in the bid documents.

This project is partially funded using Federal Grant Funds.  Therefore, all Federal Requirements associated with the use of these funds must be followed.

All projects over $150,000.00 shall be bonded therefore the successful bidder shall provide a 100% performance and payment bond.  All projects over $7500.00 or less than $150,000.00 require a form of guarantee as approved by the county.

The Board of Uinta County Commissioners hereby notifies all bidders that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, creed, or national origin.

Uinta County reserves the right to accept or reject any items or all items, any part or all parts, any section or all sections, any bid or all bids as stated in the specifications to waive any irregularities or informalities, or to re-bid or re-advertise for bids if it is determined to be necessary or desirable and reserve the right to let the bid in any manner it sees fit.

FORECLOSURE SALE NOTICE

WHEREAS, default in the payment of principal and interest has occurred under the terms of a Promissory Note (the “Note”) dated April 1, 2015, executed and delivered by Tracy F. Warburton (“Mortgagor”) to AMCAP Mortgage LTD.
