The Uinta County Commissioners met in regular session on February 15, 2022 in the commission chambers, 225 9th Street, Evanston.  Chairman Eric South convened meeting at 2:00 p.m. Commissioner Brent Hatch was present and Commissioner Mark Anderson was excused.  Also present: Amanda Hutchinson, County Clerk; and Loretta Howieson, Attorney.

Agenda

Motion Hatch, second South to approve the agenda amended to include Loretta Howieson with a presentation, Rowdy Dean with a vehicle transfer request, Aaron Hutchinson with a grant amendment, and removal of the ARPA topic.  2 yes votes, passed.

Board Appointment

Motion Hatch, second South to appoint Tim Rhinehart to an unexpired term on the Veterans Board.  2 yes votes, passed.

Liquor License Renewals

Uinta County School District #1

Request for Proposals -Residing of District Modulars

The Uinta County School District #1 (UCSD #1) is seeking proposals for residing the modulars at Aspen/North Elementary Schools. This will include residing all four sides with vinyl or aluminum siding, replacing the soffit and with aluminum soffit. The proposal will include all necessary equipment, material, labor, permits, insurance, and supervision required to perform the project.  Please separate the bids by location.

The school district seeks an agreement that allows it to work with the selected Vendor to adjust quantities and/or scale back or cancel the project entirely as needed based upon funding availability and/or the best interests of the District.

Uinta County Complex Parking Structure Demolition and Reconstruction

Interested Teams must attend the MANDATORY pre-proposal meeting on March 10, beginning at 2:00 PM local time.  Meet at the commission conference room in the Uinta County Complex, 225 9th Street, Evanston Wyoming to gain an understanding of the project scope, desired results, funding and owner’s expectations

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Uinta County Commissioners are requesting bids for the Uinta County Dust Suppression Project.  The successful contractor will be required to furnish all supervision, technical, personnel, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services, including utility and transportation services to perform and complete all services and materials as defined in the bid documents.

This project is partially funded using Federal Grant Funds.  Therefore, all Federal Requirements associated with the use of these funds must be followed. 

All projects over $150,000.00 shall be bonded therefore the successful bidder shall provide a 100% performance and payment bond.  All projects over $7500.00 or less than $150,000.00 require a form of guarantee as approved by the county.

The Board of Uinta County Commissioners hereby notifies all bidders that minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, creed, or national origin.
