Grant Opportunity

Attention: Charitable Organizations in Uinta County,

The county has been allocated $449,562 to distribute to local Charitable Organizations, there are still approximately $267,000 available to be allocated after the first round of awards.  For purposes of this grant opportunity, a “charitable organization” means a nonprofit entity, including churches, which qualifies as tax-exempt under either Section 501c(3) or Section 501c (19) of the Internal Revenue Code and which provided goods, services, or payments to the public related to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.  Please refer to the Community Charitable Relief Program Rules on the county’s website for a more comprehensive list of reimbursable items and qualifications.  It is imperative that each applicant understands and complies with all of the rules in order to be considered.  If an organization would like to apply for funds to the County Commissioners, the following items must be completed and returned to the County Clerk’s Office located at 225 9th Street Evanston, WY  82930 no later than 12:00 pm on January 26, 2021:

 Sub-grantee Certification (template located on the county website)

Detailed Narrative Including:

Description of how the organization provided goods, services, or payments related to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency at no cost to the recipient

Amount of money being requested

Date the funds were spent and itemized list of purchases

Invoices or receipts

If the grant request includes a request for lost donations or revenue as a direct result of an interruption caused by COVID-19, the request must include the items listed above (except for invoices or receipts) as well as the following additional items:

Documentation showing qualifying gross loss to donation revenue; minus any state or federal loans, grant, business interruption stipend program funds, relief program funds issued as relief relating to COVID-19.

Description of lost donations, revenues, or other fundraisers and how it directly applies to COVID-19.

A/E PROFESSIONAL SERVICES

NOTICE TO PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANTS

The City of Evanston is seeking proposals from Architects and Engineers (A/E) interested in providing design-bid-build professional services for the construction of a 60,000 square foot industrial building located on part of lot 1 of block 1 of the Evanston Union Center 2nd addition plat.  The 60,000 square foot building will be constructed for the use of office space, material storage, manufacturing and shipping.  Work will include professional design, permitting, public bid package, construction management (with weekly observation reports) and project close out.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 3rd day of February 2021, at 10:00 o’clock am, at the front door of the Uinta County Courthouse located at 225 9th Street, Evanston, Wyoming, Uinta County, the Sheriff of Uinta County, Wyoming, will, in accord with a Court order, sell at public auction to the highest bidder, for the benefit of the Plaintiff Commercial Credit Group, Inc. who has obtained a judgment against Judgment Debtor/Defendants Kenny Baker, Kevin Baker, Harold Baker, and Wendy Gerrard through the District Court, Third Judicial District, County of Uinta, State of Wyoming, No. CV19-119, in the sum of $1,609,425.48, which sum consists of the unpaid principal balance of $1,601,606.52, plus pre-judgment interest of $7,818.96, plus interest thereafter at the rate of 10% per annum ($438.80 per diem), in the above listed matter.
