Wendy C. Perryman, age 48, died Sunday, April 13, at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born Sept. 23, 1965, in Evanston, the daughter of Dennis and Cherilyn Karn Perryman.
Wendy received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wyoming and obtained her PhD in Neuroanatomy and Cell Biology from the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks. A resident of Garden City since 2008, she was professor for ten years at Oral Roberts University, and recently worked as a paraprofessional and tutor at Garden City Community College.
She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Cherilyn Perryman of Garden City, Kansas; one brother, Brandy J. Perryman of Dallas, Texas: and one sister, Nikki R. Perryman of Sheridan.
Vigil and Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 21, at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City, Kansas.
A Memorial Mass will be said at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, at the church.
There will be no calling times.
Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorials may be given to Multiple Sclerosis Society in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
