Judette “Judi” Ann Wickham Lawrence passed away on Nov. 16, 2013 at Evanston Regional Hospital in Evanston at the age of 73.
Judi was born on Oct. 1, 1940, in Santa Rosa, N.M., the daughter of Leo A. and Geneva M. (McAllister) Wickham.
She married Carl T. “Chip” Lawrence on Jan. 18, 1971, in Rock Springs and they later divorced.
Judi graduated from Evanston High School in 1958 and later obtained her nursing degree, and always enjoyed working with the elderly. She was a member of the Crossroads New Life Fellowship Church and enjoyed doing all crafts, puzzles, and collecting pig figurines. She loved to travel, especially to Oregon, Las Vegas, and especially loved the Oregon coast.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and is survived by her daughter, Carla (Steve) Roberts, of Evanston; a son, Paul Lawrence, of Evanston; and her grandchildren, Steven Roberts, Lindsey Lawrence, Danielle Lawrence, Alex Roberts, Jessica Roberts, and Leo Lawrence.
She is also survived by a great-grandchild, Lyla Grace Snow Lawrence. She is also survived by a brother, Cliff (Elda) Wickham, of Fort Bridger.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Chip Lawrence.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m., at Crossroads New Life Fellowship Church, 101 Commerce Dr. in Evanston. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at the Evanston City Cemetery.
