LYMAN Tree-mendous Trees for Uinta County, a special seminar focusing on selecting and nurturing the best trees for the area, will be hosted by the Uinta County Conservation District at their district office, 204 E. Sage St. in Lyman, Monday, March 4, at 7 p.m.
Featured speaker Brook Lee, district forester with the Wyoming State Forestry Division, will address the following topics:
Species selection for our area
Tips on how to properly plant a tree
The right tree for the right spot
Proper pruning and other tree care tidbits
Kerry Sabey, with the conservation district, will offer a presentation on their seedling tree program. Participants in the workshop will be entered to win a tree of their choice.
