The senior citizens centers in both Evanston and Bridger Valley will begin providing Saturday and Sunday lunch to area senior citizens. The service will begin on Saturday, March 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Although there will be no planned activities, attendees are welcome to play cards and pool during this time frame.
Lunch prices remain the same, which is a $3 suggested donation for seniors 60 or better; $5 for ages 55 to 59; and for persons 54 and under, $7.50.
The biannual meal and transportation ticket sale will begin March 1. The “March Madness” ticket sale promotion provides an opportunity to save on a 30-day meal or 30-day transportation pass. These punch passes have no expiration date, and can be used seven days a week.
Punch passes are $75 for a 30-meal pass, and $80 for 30 rides with the senior transportation program.
