Elk depredation meeting planned

BRIDGER VALLEY — Local ranchers and Wyoming Game and Fish staff members will have an opportunity to discuss concerns of elk depredation at a meeting on Feb. 27, at 7 p.m., in the Lyman Town Hall courtroom.

The meeting is being held so residents can address their concerns before the hunting season is set and the hunting license numbers are finalized.

Uinta County is hosting the meeting in cooperation with WG&F district supervisor Steve DeCecceo, of Green River.

The timing of this meeting is critical, according to Karen Henry, Robertson rancher.
