EVANSTON — EHS Theatre Productions will open their annual dinner theater series Feb. 28 with Café Murder, which will run three nights — Feb. 28, March 1 and 2.

Rosemary Saint-John is a loud, annoying hypochondriac convinced she is allergic to water. Celebrating her birthday at a restaurant with her four kooky sisters — a hippie, a valley girl, a trucker and a banker — Rosemary makes enemies with everyone around her. When she disappears and is presumed murdered, the only objective witnesses in the restaurant are the audience members, who must cast their vote.

Was it one of Rosemary’s sisters? The self-taught detective? The passionate French chef? The polite and proper mâitre d’? The sarcastic waiter? No one is above suspicion in this delightful dinner theater murder mystery.

The talented nine cast members are Brooke Bybee, Kayla Munro, Allison Smith, Megan Simon, Riley Douglass, Samantha Demander, Tyler Hughes, Shelbey Bowman and Jacob Marquez.

This year’s dinner will be catered by Main Street Deli. It will include salad, rice, chicken cordon bleu, vegetable medley, cupcake and lemonade. An additional treat for the audience is that they will be served by the characters in the play. Serving cast includes Ariel Chambers, Christal Rohan, Krysten Munro, Taryn Skaggs, Serah Hatch, Karissa Wilkerson, Briley Stout, Athena Donahue, Lexus Villalobos, and Josh Noorda. Laura Robinson and Haley Nowicki are hostesses for the evening.

Technical support is provided by Jazmine Gruber, Jay Atkinson, Larissa Sorenson, Jacob Marquez, Alexia Kreinbrink and Megan Simon. The production is under the direction of Sonja Shetler.

Admission is $15 for the show and dinner, and reservations are required. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. in the EHS auditorium.

Tickets can be obtained from cast members, or by calling (307) 789-0757. Reserved tickets will be held for 24 hours before they are released for sale.
