EHS theater takes 3rd in group performance

RIVERTON — The EHS theater department returned from state drama competition in Riverton this past weekend with a trophy for third place in group performance art. The team also received 15 all-state cast honors.

All-state cast honors in group performance art went to Megan Simon, Christal Rohan, Haley Nowicki, Veronika Hansen, Rachel Cowley, Ariel Chambers, Amanda Bryant, Shelbey Bowman, Jay Atkinson and Sierra Armstrong.

Two students received all-state for set design — Haley Nowicki and Megan Simon. Christal Rohan received an all-state medal for dramatic duet. Sami Messmer and Jacob Marquez received all-state cast for their performance in the proscenium.

The department is under the direction of Sonja Shetler.
