EVANSTON — The Evanston Police Department is seeking information on several acts of vandalism perpetrated in the Evanston area over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, according to a release from the department.
“Over the Thanksgiving weekend, the Evanston Police Department responded to several calls of vandalism,” the release said. “Several vehicle windows, business windows and residential windows had been shot with a BB or pellet gun.”
The release said the incidents occurred on Cheyenne Drive, Front Street, Andrea Avenue, Eighth Street, South Park Village, West Sage and 19th Street, and resulted in thousands of dollars in damage.
Anyone with information about the crimes can call the department at (307) 789-CASH (2214) in Evanston, or (307) 786-CASH (2214) in the Bridger Valley. Callers can remain anonymous, and tips may be worth a reward.
