Local legislators named to committees

CHEYENNE — Several local legislators were appointed to governmental committees following party caucuses held Nov. 17-18 in Cheyenne.

In the Wyoming State House, newly-elected Gary Piiparinen was named to both the education and travel committees. Lyman’s Allen Jaggi secured seats on both the travel and transportation committees.

In the Wyoming Senate, Paul Barnard was named to the education and travel committees.

The legislative session is slated to begin Jan. 8, 2013.
