In Loving Memory — “God Bless Our Cowboy”
Bruce Jay Thompson, 65, passed away at his home in Evanston Dec. 4, 2012, after battling an extended illness.
He was born to Don and Lilly Thompson on March 11, 1947 in Ogden, Utah. He married Susan Noble in March 2009.
Bruce was a true cowboy. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and riding ATVs in Arizona during the winter. Bruce served his country honorably in the U.S. Army, and was a proud member of the VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; his children, Jodi Thompson and Jace Thompson; his stepchildren, Josh (Kandra) Noble, and Brooke (Jason) Chadwick; one grandchild, Dee Jay Clark; his brother Brent (Lark) Thompson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Lilly Thompson.
A memorial service to honor his life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, in Evanston at the downtown historic Depot, at 10th and Front streets, at 2 p.m.
