Pauline J. Pierce passed away at her home in Evanston Dec. 6, following a long illness. She was born in Evanston June 29, 1955, the daughter of June Etta and Ralph Pierce of Hilliard flat. She attended school in Evanston. As a young girl she worked at the New Garden Cafe for many years. When the oil boom was here, she worked at Alexander Answering Service for a long time. Later in her life she delivered Domino’s pizza until her health got bad.
Pauline married Phil Vaske on Aug. 13, 1983. They were later divorced. She married Doug Brown July 12, 1994 and moved to Woodruff, Utah. They later divorced.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nikki Joe Pierce; and her son, James Ralph Vaske on Feb. 19, 1990.
She is survived by her parents, June Etta Pierce and Ralph and Arlea Pierce of Evanston; six sisters, Colleen (Gene) David of Afton; Susan (John) Fenus of Vernal, Utah; Nancy (Denny) Lewis of Evanston; Annette (Al) Lutze of Arvada, Colo.; Linda Pierce of Salem, Ore.; and Crystal (Kelly) Johnson of Evanston; her special friend and companion, Gene B. Idondo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
At her request there will be no services at this time. Cremation has taken place and there will be a gathering at a later date for the spreading of the ashes. In lieu of flowers those who wish can make a donation to Uinta Home Health and Hospice, 1229 Uinta St., Evanston.
