Angela B. Montoya, age 72, passed away in Murray, Utah, on Feb. 26, surrounded by her loving family.
Angela was born on March 13, 1937, to Samuel Bustos and Jessie Jaure Bustos.
She married Vivian Montoya on April 2, 1960 in Rawlins.
They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary this year.
She attended St. Mary Magdelan Catholic Church where she helped with the CCW. She was a devoted parish member for 42 years.
Angela was a devoted mother and wife, who enjoyed camping, cooking for all her family and her kids’ friends. She passionately cared for her family and loved ones, raising two generations. She also loved reading books and playing games with her family.
She is survived by her husband, son Anthony (Rebecca) Montoya, grandchildren Megan and Mathew Montoya, all of Evanston, Wyoming, her brother Alfonzo Bustos, and sisters Cathryn Eck and Sally Allen of Rawlins, Wyoming, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Paul Montoya.
A Rosary was held at St. Mary Magdelan Catholic Church in Evanston, at 7 p.m. on March 1. A funeral service will be held on March 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdelan Catholic Church in Evanston.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Crandall Funeral Home, Evanston.
