Christopher D. Gebhart, born Feb. 2, 1980 in Evanston, passed away on Feb. 3.

Chris is survived by his father Bill Gebhart, Jr. and Alice (Chamberlain) Gebhart and his sister Allicia (Gebhart) Braegger and many aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends and of course his beloved puppy Oscar.

Chris loved being a police officer and part of the EMT services it is a career he always wanted to have. Chris enjoyed his family and spending time with them.

He was very protective and close to his sister Allicia.

Chris had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was a fan of music, the outdoors, and food. Chris loved life and always had a smile on his face.

Chris will be missed by all that knew him and will always be watching over us.

There will be a memorial in Christopher’s honor on Feb. 8 at the Yellow Creek Ward starting at 10 a.m. There will be a reception in his honor following the service.
