Red Devil JV faces Green River, Mtn. View in jamboree scrimmage

Red Devil cross country takes second at Green River

The Evanston High School cross country teams fared well in their first meet of the season at the Green River Invitational last Friday. The EHS varsity boys' team took 2nd place in the competition, second only to Rock Springs.

Red Devil golfers victorious in Lander

Red Devil golf's boys' and girls' teams both dominated the Lander tournament by taking 1st place out of the twelve competing golf teams on Thursday and Friday last week.
On the first day of the tournament the Red Devil boys' varsity team shot 310 and shot 320 on the next day for a total score of 630.

Lady Devil swimmers, divers take first at Rawlins Pentathlon

Evanston High School's girls' swimmers and divers opened the season with a big win, taking first place at the Rawlins Pentathlon on Saturday.
Head Coach Casey Boyle said the girls placed first with a score of 179, far and away above the second place of Rock Springs (133) and third of Sublette County (111).

During last weekend's Cokeville Invitational, the Evanston Lady Devils volleyball team finished victorious in the consolation round, beating out Bear Lake, Idaho, 3-1 (25-15, 14-25, 25-22, 25-23) and finishing in 6th place overall in the tournament.

Boosters: Tailgate parties planned for home football games

The EHS Lady Devil volleyball team will begin its season in the Cokeville tournament this weekend, Aug. 27-28. The Lady Devils will begin by squaring off against Gillette at 8 a.m. on Friday. At 3:30 p.m. the Lady Devils will meet Bonneville, followed by a game against Mountain View at 6 p.m.
