Hansen to chair Renewal Ball

EVANSTON — The Evanston Urban Renewal Agency recently announced Lisa Hansen will chair the 2013 Renewal Ball. Lisa Green will serve as vice-chairman for the event that raises funds for continued renewal and development within the city.

“We are thrilled to have these two ladies in the lead for this year’s Renewal Ball, and know they will do a great job for us,” Renewal Board Chairman Fred Coles said.

Area residents are invited to attend the annual Renewal Ball kick-off meeting, slated for Thursday, Feb. 7, at 5:30 p.m. in the Portland Rose Room at the Historic Roundhouse.

“Come join in the fun, bring your ideas for possible ball themes, and sign up for a committee,” a release said of the meeting.
