EVANSTON — A special presentation on “Gun control in the Constitution” will be offered Thursday, Jan. 31, at 7 p.m. in the Uinta County Library’s Bridger Carter meeting room.
“Considering recent events and all the renewed talk of stricter gun control, we feel it is appropriate to revisit what the Founding Fathers intended when they ratified the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States,” a release from organizers said. “There is more involved than most people realize. Mr. Jeff Hymas does an excellent job of leading us through the words of the founders to help us gain a better understanding of our rights and responsibilities.”
Hymas will also focus on what actions we can take to help protect this most important right.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
