County Attorney Dean Stout has confirmed that Chief Trial Deputy Loretta Gerrard has left the county attorney’s office.
According to Stout, Gerrard finished up in his office Friday, July 15.
“Loretta is opening her own practice and I’m sure she will do extremely well,” Stout told the Herald.
He said the county will now begin the process of replacing Gerrard, although he has no time frame for the replacement. He said the county is advertising throughout the state and region, and is taking resumes. For the complete article see the 07-19-2011 issue.
