EVANSTON -- With the primary election just weeks away, a crowd of about 100 people turned out to hear from candidates for Evanston mayor, Evanston City Council, and Bear River Town Council.
Four of five declared candidates for mayor attended the forum, held last Thursday, and sponsored by the Evanston Chamber of Commerce. Paul Cutts was not in attendance.

EVANSTON -- Depot Square was filled with both residents and visitors Saturday for the sixth annual Evanston Brewfest. The popular event drew many beer drinkers from neighboring Utah and some from Idaho and other states.

ECHO CANYON, Utah -- A fiery accident involving two semitrucks on westbound Interstate 80 in Echo Canyon left hundreds of motorists either stranded in Evanston or forced to alternate routes Wednesday.
