State vet Logan: Trichomoniasis found in Uinta, Lincoln counties

Three bulls out of two herds in Uinta County, and one bull out of a herd in Lincoln County, have tested positive for trichomoniasis since September 2011.
The first known report of trich in Uinta County was 21 years ago, and it has been spreading since, according to State Veterinarian Jim Logan, who spoke Jan. 19 at a meeting

Sheriff’s Dept. officers complete leadership programs

The Uinta County Sheriff's Department recently announced that two of its deputies will soon have a pair of leadership training courses offered by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the state of Wyoming under their belts.
Lt. Dave Evins, who was the first law enforcement officer to complete the Leadership Wyoming program in 2003, has completed the FBI's National Academy.

Wyoming BLN expanding to Green River

Hughes makes plea in drug case
